The Lurrvv Train is a-coming

I’m just so excited to be a part of this unique event! On Friday 22nd of September 2023, 12 lucky and loved-up couples will board the Bellarine’s iconic Q Train in Queenscliff and be married whilst travelling to Drysdale and back.

Earlier this year I married Karen and Mark aboard The Q Train and we had such an amazing trip that Marie-Claire, CEO of The Q Train, and I put our heads together to see what we could come up with. And voila, The Love Train was born!

The wedding industry is seeing a marked growth in smaller, more intimate weddings known as ‘micro-weddings’ with some couples electing to just elope. The beauty of this event is that you can truly elope with just the two of you and we’ll provide the witnesses, or you can bring along some family or besties to share in the joy. The private compartments can cater for different sized groups, it’s totally up to you.

In fact, you could hold a wedding in your own carriage and have up to 30 or so guests. Now there’s an idea!!!!

what’s included

What’s better than arriving at your own wedding with nothing to organise and ready to say ‘I do’! We’ll take care of everything, and I mean everything!

We’ll provide your registry-style ceremony, all the legalities, a photographer to capture all the highlights, a 5-course degustation with matching wines, and for those wanting just a little tradition thrown in, we have some add-ons in a bouquet and a wedding cake. All the details are available here.

And imagine spending a weekend in iconic Queenscliff, wandering down to the railway station, boarding the train to be wined, dined and married, and then wandering back as a married couple to your accommodation at the end of an amazing day. For accommodation recommendations, get in touch.

A little toast and a few laughs before we boarded the train and Karen and Mark said ‘I do’.

If you need anymore details check out our website here or feel free to contact me directly if you have any queries at all. Hope to see you on The Love Train!
