I’ll do everything possible to help you navigate your way through to your big day and together we can create exactly what you both want for your celebration. One of my past couples described me as a ‘favourite aunt’; they could come to me for anything and I guided them when needed. I’m here to help you too.
What i do
I’ve found the ideal job and I’m living my best life! I get to work with couples to create the ceremony that THEY want … that reflects THEM … authentically. I make a zillion suggestions about what you can include, I provide a range of resources to give you some inspiration, I can recommend fabulous local vendors, and I get to tell YOUR story to your guests. Doesn’t get much better really.
Creating your story and then delivering it to your guests gives me such a high! I don’t do boring, I do fun! I work with you to get your guests engaged and loving the ceremony as much as you and then they’re all vibed up and ready to celebrate. It’s a win-win! When I'm not marrying people and juggling family life, you'll find me down at the beach, going to the footy or travelling.
My career has mostly been in the education sector, initially as a teacher and later as an administrator, and has taken me all around the world. A friend married my husband and me and I remember thinking at the time, what a cool job sharing in such a special milestone.
I've had many amazing opportunities come my way and celebrancy is one of them, so I grabbed it. I completed my training in 2013 and haven't looked back. I've found my niche doing this gig and yes, I still get that same buzz and sense of satisfaction after each and every ceremony. What a high!
My style is relaxed and calm. I'm very professional and thorough but I love to include some humour and engage your guests. I love that your ceremony can really set the mood and kick-off the rest of your celebration. You might like to check out a snippet from Rachael and Sean’s wedding below.
