I am a Mum, a Nana, a Wife and a Dees fan! I live on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula and pretty much have an awesome life!

My career had always been in the education sector, initially as a teacher and later as an administrator and took me all around the world. A close friend had married my husband and I a few years ago now and I remember thinking at the time what a cool job sharing in people's special celebratory moments.

When my father-in-law passed away my husband asked me to perform the ceremony and I clearly remember how I felt during and after the service. I was nervous but I felt uplifted and grateful that I could support the family and, at the same time, give my father-in-law the best possible send-off . I was hooked! I've had many wonderful opportunities come my way and becoming a celebrant was one of them, so I grabbed it. I completed my training in 2013 and haven't looked back. I really feel I've found my niche doing this gig! And yes, I still get that tingle of excitement and sense of satisfaction after each and every ceremony. What a buzz!

My style is relaxed and calm. I'm very professional and thorough but I like to have a laugh and always try to add in some humour and fun to a ceremony.

Sue is a wonderful celebrant. She is a genuine person full of kindness which comes through in every interaction that you’ll have with her. She took the time to get to know us on a personal level and it translated into a wonderful wedding ceremony.
